充滿驚喜的沙丘探險之旅

The Japanese prefecture with the lowest population, the first thing that comes to the minds of many when they think of Tottori Prefecture (鳥取県, Tottori-ken) is its majestic sand dunes.

But there’s more to Tottori than just that. Daisen is Tottori’s other major symbol and an excellent hike, as well as the site of the holy Daisen-ji. The Nageire-do of Sanbutsu-ji is built into the side of a cliff and is a sight to behold.

Tottori is also famous for its numerous hot springs and the Kurayoshi District, with its preserved warehouses dating back to the Edo Period. A lesser known fact is that some of Tottori’s mountains become good ski slopes in the winter.
