Kyoto is considered to be one of the most famous cities for sightseeing in Japan. Of course, it’s hard to compete with the places of interest of Kyoto, thus the city is always crowded. But, Kyoto is also the city where Japanese people live. On a Sunday morning, I walked to Yasaka Jinja and along Kamo River where I watched the citizens of Kyoto on their day off. Those scenes were soothing and made me think that families and friends are alike all over the world.
