Looking for a different kind of shopping experience in Tokyo? Marunouchi Street Market by Creema is returning this September, bringing more than 100 handmade creators from across Japan together in the underground plaza in front of Tokyo Station.

Taking place on September 13 and 14, the market has expanded significantly from last year's event, which featured around 50 creators. The new, larger venue also means visitors can enjoy the event whatever the weather, making it an easy addition to a Tokyo itinerary.

Creema is Japan's largest handmade marketplace, connecting shoppers directly with creators selling original works. The Marunouchi market offers a chance to see that creative culture in person, with everything from accessories, pottery, bags, leather goods, candles, and quirky character goods to handmade food.

Among the participating creators is atelier mine-ro, known for fun adult accessories inspired by things such as faucets and miniature food. Koukouya will showcase individually hand-painted pottery, while dotto CANDLE creates aroma soy candles with natural wooden wicks. Animal Yokai offers adorable supernatural characters inspired by the Japanese concept of yokai.

There will also be food to discover, including beautifully decorated icing cookies from Sai artcookies and warm Korean rice cake sweets from Hanasaku.

Want to get creative yourself? Workshops include making a personalized genuine leather ticket keychain and creating your own fragrance using natural essential oils.

The event will also feature a special "Creema with BARBAPAPA" booth, where visitors can see exclusive collaboration items. The first 30 customers each day who purchase at the booth will receive a limited sticker.
