China Festival 2026 is a major cultural exchange event introducing Chinese culture, food and entertainment to visitors in Tokyo. First held in 2017, the festival welcomed around 200,000 visitors and 164 exhibitors in 2025. This year's event focuses on Japan-China cultural exchange and discovering contemporary China, with food, traditional culture, performances and more across Yoyogi Park.

More information on the booths and performers at the event will be added to the China Festival website and SNS channels closer to the date.

Admission to the festival is free of charge, but do bring some yen if you plan on grabbing a bite to eat or drink.

Regional editions (like Sapporo and Kanazawa) also take place on their own schedule.
