Daikanyama's new Log Road complex boasts a delectable entry onto Tokyo's sweets scene. The Portland, Oregon-based chain Camden Blue Star Donuts is bringing both its American favorites as well as donuts designed for Japanese palates to the city's residents. Old standbys like bacon and maple and blueberry bourbon basil are joined by beignets sprinkled with kinako (soybean powder) and matcha latte donuts. There's room to eat in the cafe, or the staff can happily pack things up to go. Donuts average around ¥380 each, though the signature glaze is considerably cheaper.
