Bringing real supercars into Tobu World Square's miniature world of famous architecture

If you've ever wanted to see a Ferrari parked outside the Eiffel Tower, or a supercar cruising past a famous Egyptian landmark, you can get pretty close to that experience in Tochigi.

Tobu World Square will host the WORLD SUPERCAR FESTIVAL in October, and the one-day event brings real supercars into its miniature world of famous architecture.

Tobu World Square features meticulously recreated 1/25-scale models of 102 famous buildings from 22 countries and regions, including 50 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites. For the festival, supercars will be displayed among the park's Japan, America, Egypt, Europe, and Asia zones, creating some rather unusual photo opportunities.

The event isn't just about looking at the cars, either. A Supercar Classroom & Quiz will introduce visitors to the mechanics and characteristics of different vehicles, with information aimed at both adults and children. There will also be a talk show featuring supercar owners, giving visitors a chance to hear about everything from buying and maintaining their cars to what makes their particular vehicles special.

For something a little louder, engine performances will let visitors hear the exhaust notes of the cars up close. A live performance by The Hit Parade, a big band specializing in Japanese popular music, will also take place during the event.

The day will finish with a departure ceremony, when the displayed supercars leave the park one by one.
