Kinrin Lake is located in Yufuin Onsen in Oita Prefecture. The name Kinrin means" "Golden Fish Scale" "The source of this name is the fish swimming in the lake, the scales of which appear like a golden glitter at sunset. The lake is famous for its morning mist, which is created when its water from hot and cold springs mixes. There are many onsen, restaurants and cafes on the shores of the lake.
