The Interactive Instant Noodle Museum (Cup Noodles Museum) in Yokohama is dedicated to instant noodles and cup noodles. The museum was opened by the company Nissin Food, whose founder Momofuku Ando invented instant noodles in 1958 as a quick and convenient food shown using a combination of bizarre exhibits and practical workshops. A short film about the history of noodles is shown and there is also a visual timeline of instant noodle products from around the world. Nissin also created space ramen for astronauts. The most popular is the workshop where visitors can make their own cup noodles. Here, flavors and numerous additional options can be combined. Yokohama Landmark Tower

Yokohama Landmark Tower

Yokohama Landmark Tower, located in the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama, is the second tallest building in Japan! This impressive 70-floor skyscraper, completed in 1993, stands 296.3 meters tall and is an unmistakable staple in the area’s skyline. The tower is visually intriguing with defined corner posts and a slightly flared base; the building is an engineering feat with a flexible structure that absorbs earthquake shocks. Amazingly, these earthquake building tactics are similar to the ones used to construct traditional Japanese multi-story pagodas. Yokohama Landmark Tower is a hub of memorable activities with destinations such as the Sky Garden Observatory, Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, and Yokohama Landmark Plaza.
