Kagoshima Airport

The second largest airport in Kyushu, after Fukuoka Airport, Kagoshima has everything you expect from a modern and spacious airport. Car rental, shopping, souvenir shops and plenty of restaurants make it a great entry point to the island and also this area of Japan as a whole. With both domestic and international routes on offer it’s a convenient location for all kinds of traveller. About 40 minutes from central Kagoshima by bus or taxi it’s on par with other Japanese airports for transit times.
